Online Restorative Yoga

Join me from the comfort of your own home for this 90 minute Restorative Yoga practice and Yoga Nidra to take you to a blissful state of deep relaxation.

I can’t imagine anyone that is not feeling affected by this current situation of Covid, isolation, shut downs, remote learning plus all of the struggles associated.

Do yourself a favour and commit to just an hour and a half for your wellbeing, your mental health.  Coming out of a session like this you will be less reactive, calmer, more grateful, be in a clearer state of mind and can show up more positively in your life again.

HOW IS A YOGA PRACTICE AT HOME POSSIBLE?

  • Explain to your family/house mates that this time for you is essential.  

  • Commit like you would to a doctor/hairdresser appointment.

  • Clear your diary so that you can take this time out of your day - a very small portion of relaxing compared to the many, many other hours you are ON….it’s time to switch OFF…!

  • Switch your device on to Do Not Disturb

  • Choose to show up

This is a practice available for all students.  All floor based postures supported by pillows/cushions/bolster and blankets.  

Rest is available for every body.

 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

  • A lovingly guided 90-minute practice, shared online into the privacy & comfort of your home

  • A very accessible, floor-based Restorative Yoga practice for all levels and bodies 

  • A guided Yoga Nidra (relaxation/yogic sleep) laying back with cushions and blankets

  • Gentle yogic breathing practices to help both revitalise and relax your system

  • A total reset of your nervous system & a feeling of being deeply rested (often for many days after the practice)

    WHAT WILL I NEED?

    • device (smart phone, tablet or computer) with a reliable internet connection 

    • A clear space in which to practice (maybe with a lock on that door!)

    • Wireless headphones are great so you can block out surrounding sounds

    • Gentle musical soundtrack (optiona)

    • A yoga bolster (or x2 pillows from your bed)

    • 2 x blankets/towels

    • Warm, comfy clothing (your body temp will drop & pj pants are totally acceptable)

After paying your donation, you will receive a link to join the session via Google Meet.

Bookings close 1 hour prior to the commencement of the practice.
