About your Yin Yoga 50hr Training
Learn to teach Yin Yoga plus create a unique & transformative experience for your students with powerful language cues based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis & Mindful Meditation Techniques
Anchored in the work of Paul Grilley & Bernie Clark and supported by accessible Integral Anatomy study, this training will help you gain the skills you need to design and teach a Yin class with confidence.
This 50 HR Yin training is fully accredited as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program ( YACEP )
Yoga Alliance is an international regulating body, spanning more than 130 countries. This means that upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to add your continuing education hours to your Yoga Alliance membership, should you have one.
All students will receive a certificate on completion of this training.

I began my personal yoga journey in 1997 whilst in my third year of university, searching for tools to alleviate stress & anxiety.
In 2010 I undertook my first 200hr certification with The Australasian Yoga Institute (established in 1976, making it one of the first yoga institutes in the world). In 2011 I was introduced to the ground breaking work of Paul Grilley & the practice of Yin Yoga.
I completed a 50hr Yin TT & a Level 2 Yin TT with Jennifer Crescenzo and have been sharing this beautiful practice ever since. I have also completed a second 50hr Yin TT with Hugh Lee plus a second 200hr & a 300hr with Being Yoga.

Why is this Yin training unique?

Along with the various Yin modules, from my training as an NLP Coach, students will learn how to weave effective, inclusive & transformative language plus breath and mindfulness meditation techniques throughout a sequence.
Learning powerful language phrases, suggestive & experiential cues guarantees a very special personal journey within oneself, as well as for their students.
How will this training be delivered?

In person (Wodonga VIC) over four full days with suggested reading, viewing & listening content prior to our first day together plus a comprehensive training manual & sequences so you can begin teaching upon certification.
Is there any online components?

You will be sent pre-recorded online content to complete (around 10 hours) - allowing us more time together to practice and immerse! The online module needs to be completed as part of your course and it is highly suggested that you complete that module prior to attending the training.
What are the course modules?

Yin Theory: Philosophy, principles, and Taoist roots
Anatomy: Skeletal variations, range of motion, yin/yang tissues
Yin & TCM: Five elements and their relationship to poses
Teaching Yin: Asana labs, safe practices, sequencing, and support systems (props)
Effective Teaching: Transformative language, mindfulness techniques, and creating
meaningful experiences
For cancellations more than 8 weeks prior course commencement, all fees will be refunded less the $300 non-refundable deposit & $5 admin fee. For cancellations within 4 -8 weeks of commencement date, a 50% cancellation fee applies plus $5 admin fee. For cancellations within 4 weeks of commencement date, no refund will be given.
Attendance Policy: 100% attendance is required for certificate to be awarded
Special Circumstances: In case a student needs to withdraw from the program due to illness, accident, death in the family, or other circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete the course, The Beauty of Yoga will provide a reasonable and fair opportunity to attend a future program or offering.
