Your Educator:
Amber Knight - Senior Teacher & Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider
I began my personal yoga journey in 1997 whilst in my third year of university, searching for tools to alleviate stress & anxiety.
In 2010 I undertook my first 200hr certification with The Australasian Yoga Institute (established in 1976, making it one of the first yoga institutes in the world).
In 2011 I was introduced to the ground breaking work of Paul Grilley & the practice of Yin Yoga.
I completed a 50hr Yin TT & a Level 2 Yin TT with Jennifer Crescenzo and have been sharing this beautiful practice ever since.
I have also completed a second 50hr Yin TT with Hugh Lee plus a second 200hr & a 300hr with Being Yoga.
I am also certified in
Calm Living Mindfulness Meditation
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) & Hypnotherapy
Breathwork & Pranayama
The practice of yin yoga is a wonderfully meditative practice, a journey of introspection which balances the yang energies in our lives.
It is a deeply therapeutic practice targeting the spine, hips & lower back which are often areas of tenderness, pain or discomfort within a society of poor posture and sedentary lifestyle.
Within stillness of the body we achieve stillness within the mind
