The Calm Living Retreat is a week devoted to regulating the nervous system through mindful movement, meditation, and restorative pauses.

With twice-daily practices, periods of silence, and generous free time, you’ll reconnect with a sustainable meditation practice you can continue at home. Set in a secluded Balinese venue overlooking rice fields and the sea, the retreat is infused with the beauty and inspiration of local cultural traditions. This is an invitation to slow down, do less, and remember the power of simply being. Women return home feeling refreshed and clear, with stress and tension eased, more joy and vitality, and a renewed sense of balance in both mental and physical health—feeling inspired to continue their meditation journey.

The Intention of The Calm Living Retreat

Explore practices that increase your ability to be more mindful, present, content and joyful - practices that you can easily implement in to your life when returning home.

Spend six nights, with other like minded women, in a private boutique resort, 5 mins from Keramas Beach, Bali.

Rest into this peaceful, safe & comfortable environment to begin, or re-ignite, your Mindfulness Meditation practice.

Whether you are new to meditation, have dipped your toe in previously or are an experienced practitioner, you can rest assured this week will be a container for you to connect with the deepest elements of your Self.

Your guide, Amber Knight, is a qualified Calm Living Mindfulness Meditation teacher with over 15 years of experience sharing the limbs of yoga & holding space for women.


What you can expect

Throughout the week we will be using daily yoga asana & pranayama practices to find comfort in the body and prepare for stillness

The open air yoga shala, with it’s refreshing 360 degree tropical greenery view of rice fields & the ocean, will be the perfect location to marinate in open awareness and connect with the oasis of calm within yourself.

Mauna - Nobel Silence - will be included throughout the week, including one 24 hour period.

During this time, it is suggested that you refrain from using all technology & reading materials as you aim to focus inward as much as possible. 

Daily journaling of your week long journey will be encouraged.

Yoga practices will include: slow flow, gentle, yin yoga, restorative & yoga nidra - suitable for all levels of experience

Meditation practices will included: guided, self guided, seated & walking

Yoga mats & cushions are provided.


Your Retreat Host — Amber Knight

Amber Knight is the founder of The Beauty Of Yoga and shares creative vinyasa / yin / restorative / yoga nidra / pranayama and mindfulness meditation. She has hosted numerous workshops and retreats in Australia, this will be her 13th international retreat.

Her classes are thoughtfully created and sequenced, offering a unique, yet beautiful and caring flow. Amber is passionate about creating a space for others to empower themselves through choice - drawing on inner strength and practicing acceptance of where they are.  She is deeply compassionate, teaches from the heart and lives her yoga off the mat. Through her everyday practice she is empathetic of where people are arriving from, the obstacles they may experience along the way, and their deep desire for freedom of suffering and increased joy. She is motivated to help other women embrace themselves wholeheartedly and put themselves and their desires forward unapologetically.

Amber 30 years of yoga experience, over 15 years teaching yoga & meditation to others and currently teaches online as well as in studios on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

About the accommodation

Your accommodation is an oasis of calm for you to retire to each evening & enjoy your own company.

Private/single occupancy rooms with private bathroom (indoor/outdoor options)

Each of the rooms have been sensitively built for both privacy & comfort.  We have this entire beautiful venue to ourselves - you don’t even need to lock your room if you choose!

It is within this space you can feel safe to receive everything you need for your evolution of growth and final rebirth into the next season of your life.

Our Cancellation Policy

No one books a retreat with the intention of later cancelling, so the policy is in place to help us work together, sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ($500)

Hold deposits are however transferable to another attendee found and assigned by the original attendee. I will also have a waiting list of willing guests to help you find someone.

Full balance due 60 days prior to the start date of retreat.

Cancellation requests submitted prior to the 60 days before the retreat date will be refunded minus admin fee & deposit.

Cancellations after the 60 day: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions. I will most certainly do my best to help you fill your spot if necessary from the waiting list.
