The Journey to Bliss Retreats in Bali are an invitation to step away from the demands of daily life and into a world of beauty, presence, and ease.

Through an expertly guided week, you’ll explore the subtle layers of Self with twice daily yoga, pranayama, and meditation designed to cultivate strength, vitality, and overall wellbeing. Set within exquisite surroundings and immersed in Bali’s rich, sacred culture, each day unfolds at an unhurried, nourishing pace with ample time to rest, reflect, and savour life’s simple pleasures. Thoughtfully curated experiences invite deep connection — to yourself, to others, and to the present moment. You’ll return home feeling rejuvenated, radiant, and inspired to live with renewed clarity, enthusiasm, and ease.

JOIN THE WAITLIST

Begin each day in the open air shala overlooking the rice fields.

Starting with PRANAYAMA to increase energy, lower the nervous system, strengthen the immune system & improve concentration.

An ASANA practice will then move stagnant energy, increase strength, improve range of movement & invite self love + acceptance.

Guided MEDITATION will develop your mindfulness practice, increase clarity of mind and invoke gratitude into each day.

The afternoon sessions will include YIN, GENTLE or RESTORATIVE yoga.

Each evening we will enjoy dinner together, amazing food, great conversations! This is a truly DECADENT week, and an opportunity to turn inward, listen to your heart’s desires and nurture yourself - inside & out!

A day in the life at The Journey to Bliss Retreat

The bliss doesn’t stop there though…

OPTIONAL activities are offered on most days to give you a taste of Balinese culture & the surrounding area. These may include a mala making workshop, a waterfall visit and purification ceremony, onsite cooking class or sound immersion.

Inexpensive & easily accessible transport is also available from the accomodation for you to explore many other options on your own eg: local shopping, temple visits, permaculture tours, the Monkey Forest.

There are many shops, cafes & restaurants within walking distance and always, plenty of time to laze by the pool. Free time is essential and a wonderful luxury to enjoy!

You may like to book yourself in to the fabulous Darshana Veda Ayurvedic Spa right there at The Shala. Surrounded by lush gardens and flowing water, it’s the perfect place to rejuvenate….

Your Retreat Host — Amber Knight

Amber Knight is the founder of The Beauty Of Yoga and shares creative vinyasa / yin / restorative / yoga nidra / pranayama and mindfulness meditation. She has hosted numerous workshops and retreats in Australia, this will be her 13th international retreat.

Her classes are thoughtfully created and sequenced, offering a unique, yet beautiful and caring flow. Amber is passionate about creating a space for others to empower themselves through choice - drawing on inner strength and practicing acceptance of where they are.  She is deeply compassionate, teaches from the heart and lives her yoga off the mat. Through her everyday practice she is empathetic of where people are arriving from, the obstacles they may experience along the way, and their deep desire for freedom of suffering and increased joy. She is motivated to help other women embrace themselves wholeheartedly and put themselves and their desires forward unapologetically.

Amber 30 years of yoga experience, over 15 years teaching yoga & meditation to others and currently teaches online as well as in studios on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

About the accommodation

Deluxe Bungalow rooms are each beautifully unique and designed to invite in the natural surroundings.

All rooms have either a garden or rice field view, gorgeous, ensuite bathrooms and are well appointed with quality in-room comforts; Wi-Fi, air conditioning & ceiling fans, tea/coffee making, cotton mosquito nets, purified drinking water, a safe for valuables, small fridge, cotton linen, bath & pool towels, shampoo & conditioner, natural body wash & natural hand wash, cupboard/clothes rack.

Please keep in mind that we will be located in the rice fields and surrounded by nature. We share the environment with a diversity of wildlife which you are sure to encounter on your stay. We are living in their home, so please be prepared to embrace the presence of animals such as geckos, ducks, chickens, dragonflies, and occasionally a shy snake passing by.


Your nourishing food on retreat

A daily buffet breakfast and dinner is included in your retreat.

The Shala Cafe serves vibrant, tasty international & local cuisine, juices, smoothies & sweets. The highest quality organic, non-GMO ingredients are sourced from all over Bali to ensure dishes are nutrient rich & delicious.

The principle of Ahimsa (non harming) is followed, serving vegan food only & the kitchen team are experienced in catering for all dietary needs.

Our week will conclude with dinner and cocktail/mocktails at the famous INDUS RESTAURANT overlooking the Campuhan Ridge (*guests to pay)

Our Cancellation Policy

No one books a retreat with the intention of later cancelling, so the policy is in place to help us work together, sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ($500)

Hold deposits are however transferable to another attendee found and assigned by the original attendee. I will also have a waiting list of willing guests to help you find someone.

Full balance due 60 days prior to the start date of retreat.

Cancellation requests submitted prior to the 60 days before the retreat date will be refunded minus admin fee & deposit.

Cancellations after the 60 day cut off: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions. I will most certainly do my best to help you fill your spot if necessary from the waiting list.
