Women have been sitting in Circle sharing stories and connecting for centuries, in secret or with the support of their communities.
All Indigenous cultures across the world follow a Circular format for healing and ceremony, sharing love and wisdom with each other.
Women form their own feminine tribe when they too, come together.
"When women with passion and purpose come together, it’s like entering into another dimension filled with feminine energy that organically feels strong, motivating and exhilarating. Creativity abounds and deep soul connections can be made in a space that allows vulnerability, a space of sisterhood. The spiritual connection of our foremothers drives us to this ancient practice that has united women for hundreds of years. It creates a space that easily lends itself to being supportive and nurturing, like coming home, a sense of true belonging. Women sit in a space that transcends women to be unapologetically authentic creating a safe place that allows your true essence to flow and beauty of the feminine gifts women possess to be lifted, acknowledged and celebrated. One of the greatest gifts we can give each other is the gift of listening and being present."
I have personally experienced the incredible energy when women come together,
practising yoga, sharing time on retreat, collective group meditation and sitting in circle.
The importance of women sharing space is not to be underestimated and is genuinely good for your overall health
Think of time with your best girlfriends, how uplifting it is to just be in their presence!
The Sister Circle allows women to connect, share and celebrate life.
We sit together in a non-judgemental space (come as you are). We show up with courage and some vulnerability, and use the space for personal reflection, optional sharing of wisdom and seeing our own stories through others.
Deep connections to yourself, and others, occurs when we realise we are all just doing our best on this journey as a woman.
WHAT IT IS
a circle for all women (adults only)
a discussion/journalling topic based on the monthly new moon energies
a confidential space
time to pause & reflect (journaling activities)
reassurance that you are not alone in your struggle (life is really hard sometimes)
an uplifting experience to reconnect with your own feminine energy (yin/nurturing)
a practice of self care - it's extremely heart warming & great for mental health
WHAT IT ISN'T
a whinge/bitch circle - practice only gratitude for lessons learnt through negative/unpleasant experiences
not necessary to share anything you don't want to….listening to others can be just as beneficial
some weird 'hippy' happening, but instead a celebration of all of our differences while uniting through the shared experience of being a woman
only for Yoga students - the circles are held in the studio but there won't be any yoga practices
WHAT YOU NEED
courage to step forward, experience the circle for yourself
a cushion to sit on if you like, we will be on the floor but BYO chair if you prefer
a journal/notebook & pen for circle activities
an item for our circle centre to infuse with Divine energy throughout the session (you will take it home again)
DONATION
This is a Pay What Your Heart Feels experience. My hope is that these gatherings are accessible to all.
All donations are appreciated for this energetic exchange.
No bookings are required. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to let me know you will be attending.
After hosting a number of workshops & retreats (one day, weekend & week long) I see it as a great honour to hold space for other women to rise to their soul's calling, answer their heart's desire and shine their unique light as brightly as possible….Join me in circle x
7.30pm - 9.30pm
Each monthly circle will be held on the New Moon.
New Moons symbolise new beginnings, new projects. They are auspicious because they are imbued with fresh energy. It's an ideal time to clarify your intentions for the coming cycle, make requests of the Universe and rest in the flow of faith.
