I am passionate about sharing the beauty of yoga, meditation, pranayama & reiki practices with people of all ages.

I believe yoga is for every body and that flexibility is a product of the practice, but definitely not a prerequisite.

My Story…..

I am worthy of my dreams and desires.

I have the courage to step forward into growth.

I embrace my whole self, unconditionally.

The lessons I have learnt through my own personal struggles with self acceptance, perfectionism, extreme levels of stress and anxiety have become the motivating drive to share the practices of yoga and meditation with others.  In particular, I feel a strong pull towards helping other women find the freedom to embrace themselves, and make themselves a priority, unapologetically.

The eight limbs of yoga encompass all that are stepping onto this path, whether they begin with experiencing relief through the physical (asana) practice or are ready to dive into the terrain of the mind (meditation).  Yoga becomes a way of living, taking the lessons learnt on the mat into daily life - experiences, relationships, behaviour and mental patterns.

During my first yoga practice in 2000, I remember being overwhelmed by the feeling of complete love for my body, my Self.  I was in awe of what I could do, how I could feel.

I felt I was wrapped in a warm embrace.  It gave me such joy and relief to be free from the displeasure of my body.  I stepped onto my mat to escape the busyness and stress that was constantly building in my mind.  This took some time, however I knew I felt better at the end of the practice then when I stepped on - so every week it was worth the effort of showing up and finding out more.

After twelve years of being a student, the practice called me to move deeper, know more.  With 350hrs of study behind me, the teaching became a natural progression to bring what I had learnt to others that were also seeking more balance, peace, happiness, freedom.  This was too good not to share!

Many years later, many classes, workshops, immersions, retreats (local and international) and my students continue being my teachers.  Along with the guidance of many senior teachers sharing their wisdom with me - Vanessa Rudge, Michael Daly, Stacey Nelson, Sherrelle Dolphin, Julie Smerdon, Jennifer Crescenzo, Jahne Hope-Williams, Adam Grochowski

I am deeply compassionate and empathetic with my students. I practice what I preach, through my practice both on and off the mat.  In this way I am able to display a great understanding of where people are arriving from, the obstacles they may experience along the way, and their deep desire for freedom of suffering and increased joy.

What lights me up? Women coming together, showing up for themselves - bravely, open heartedly!  I am passionate about creating a space for others to empower themselves through choice, drawing on inner strength and practicing acceptance of where they are in any given moment.

You will find the classes are thoughtfully created and sequenced, offering variations in poses to suit all levels of experience.  Mindful movements connected with breath allow the student to stay tuned in to their experience ensuring they make compassionate and kind choices for their body at all times.

Your practice is unique to you.
