WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?

DO I REQUIRE PRIOR EXPERIENCE?
It is suggested that you have some prior personal yoga experience. Feel free to discuss this with Amber.
WHERE IS THE TRAINING HELD?
The beautiful Mysa Movement, 108 High Street Wodonga will be our home for this training.
WHAT DOES THE TRAINING SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
The training schedule is based around the Mysa Movement regular timetable hence the varying times on each day.
Day 1- Thursday 21st May: 8am - 5pm
Day 2 - Friday 22nd May: 7am - 7pm
Day 3 - Saturday 23rd May: 10:30am - 7pm
Day 4 - Sunday 24th May: 7am - 6:30pm
60 min lunch breaks plus short morning/afternoon tea breaks
WHAT WILL THE TRAINING DAYS LOOK LIKE?
Taking the long days into consideration, the sessions will be a mix of theory, discussion & practice - student & teacher led - with breaks into between.
You will be given an extensive training manual to refer to during and following the training.
IS THERE ANY PRIOR LEARNING REQUIRED?
Before we meet for our first session, you will be provided with pre-recorded viewing & content to ensure that we have enough in person time for our training together.
ARE THERE ANY RECOMMENDED TEXTS TO READ PRIOR?
Don’t overwhelm yourself. There are plenty of texts but the one I highly recommend is
The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark
This can often be found in your local library
DO I NEED TO ANYTHING
All yoga mats & props will be provided. You are very welcome to BYO.
Please bring
a pen & notebook; a training manual will be provided

lunch & snacks (or purchase locally)
WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND ALL SESSIONS?
For certification and completion of this training, it is required that you attend all sessions. There may be occasions where a student has a challenge that makes attending difficult. Please feel free to discuss this with Amber.
WHAT IF I BOOK AND CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?
In case a student needs to withdraw from the program due to illness, accident, death in the family, or other circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete the course, The Beauty of Yoga will provide a reasonable and fair opportunity to attend a future program or offering.
ARE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?
Absolutely. After you have secured your spot with a deposit you are welcome to pay in installments with the final payment being received by Friday 1st May 2026
WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE ON COMPLETION?
This 50 HR Yin training is fully accredited as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program ( YACEP )
Yoga Alliance is an international regulating body spanning more than 130 countries. This means that upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to add your continuing education hours to your Yoga Alliance membership, should you have one (if you are a yoga teacher).
All students will receive a certificate on completion of this training.
WILL I BE ABLE TO TEACH YIN YOGA AFTER COMPLETING THIS 50HR TRAINING?
For sure!
You will have the knowledge, confidence & skills along with an extensive training manual to reference, pictures of the poses, examples of class plans/sequences and effective language to begin teaching yin immediately or add it to your own home practice. What an exciting journey!
