What is Qigong:
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow, gentle movements, controlled breathing, and mental focus to cultivate and balance vital energy, known as "Qi" or "Chi." It promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Qigong helps reduce stress, improve flexibility and strength, boost immune function, enhance mental clarity, and increase energy levels. Its calming movements support relaxation and overall health, making it an effective practice for harmony and vitality suitable for all levels.
What is Yin Yoga:
An introspective, slow paced practice that targets the fascia and other deep connective tissues of the body.
The health of fascia is vital for flexibility & mobility. Specific yin poses will stimulate the liver/gall bladder meridian (channels) to improve one’s sense of direction, vision & potential to achieve goals.
Feelings of rejuvenation & steadiness arise as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity.
Postures are held for 3-5 min, supported with bolsters, blankets and blocks. Options are offered to accommodate individual bodies.
